About the Role
Screen season in West Vancouver is real. Homeowners spend their summers on patios and decks and they hate bugs. Brackendale Bug Screens installs retractable screen doors, window screens, and screen systems — and we need someone to go introduce us to the neighbourhoods that would love what we do.
This is a door-to-door role in West Vancouver and the North Shore. You'll work designated residential streets, knock doors, introduce the product, and book estimates for our estimators to follow up. You get paid $25 an hour for your time, plus commission on every job that converts.
This is not a hard sell. You're introducing a service people actually need and don't know exists yet. The product sells itself once people understand what a retractable screen door actually does.
What You'll Do
- Canvass designated residential neighbourhoods in West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and the North Shore
- Introduce BBS products to homeowners (window screens, screen doors, retractable systems)
- Collect contact info and book estimate appointments through our system
- Follow a daily canvassing route (we provide the map)
- Report leads and daily activity at end of shift
- Represent BBS professionally in upscale residential communities
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable approaching strangers and starting conversations
- Positive, energetic, and resilient — not every door opens, but the ones that do are worth it
- Honest and straightforward — no pressure tactics, just genuine introductions
- Reliable transportation to the West Vancouver / North Shore area (or ability to meet at a designated start point)
- Previous door-to-door, canvassing, or sales experience is a strong asset but not required
- Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
Compensation & Perks
